Qliq is a proprietary trading firm within the Qmulus Group – an entrepreneurial single-family office active in real estate, private equity, and trading. Qliq focuses on absolute return strategies in the U.S. markets and operates as an independent entity with a compact, ambitious team of professionals.
The organization is entering a new phase of growth and professionalization. The Supervisory Board plays an active role as a strategic sounding board and sparring partner to the CEO. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a board member with experience in HR, Legal, or operational management (COO) who understands what it means to supervise a performance-driven and entrepreneurial organization.
About the role
As a member of the Supervisory Board, you share responsibility for the strategic oversight of the organization. You bring expertise in one of the following areas: organizational development and talent (HR), legal frameworks and compliance (Legal), or operational excellence and structure (COO). With this subject-matter knowledge, you will actively contribute to the strategic and organizational development of Qliq.
You are analytical, engaged, constructively critical, and attuned to what a young, fast-growing organization needs in its next phase. You help ensure a healthy balance between ambition, control, and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities

- Provide guidance and oversight on organizational development, governance, and/or compliance.
- Act as a sparring partner to the CEO on issues related to team growth, internal processes, legal structure, or operational setup.
- Contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making within the Supervisory Board.
- Support the ongoing professionalization of the organization in relevant areas of expertise.
- Ensure transparent communication and accountability toward shareholders.
- Actively participate in board meetings and foster effective collaboration within the Supervisory Board.
What We are looking for
- Senior-level experience in one of the following areas: Human Resources (people & culture), Legal (corporate governance, compliance), or COO/operational management.
- Affinity with performance-driven and entrepreneurial environments, ideally within financial or tech sectors.
- Familiarity with governance or supervisory structures (experience as a board member is a plus, but not required).
- Independent thinker with strong analytical skills, clear communication, and collaborative leadership style.
- Willingness to commit to an active supervisory role, including weekly check-ins and regular meetings.
- Preferably based in or around Amsterdam.
